I have tested the radio and it works very well by picking up many stations on both fm am frequencies. The silver trim line on face is bright and stands out beautifully. I had the clock hooked up for a couple of hours, and it kept perfect time.

The original knobs were lost over time, however I am including a set of chrome and brushed stainless outer inner that are in near perfect condition. The Gm part for this radio is, which superseded original of etr 2700 model series, or electronic tuning receiving stereo also called signal seeking. Although not correct for the following years, it can be installed and will fit perfectly look stock in dash opening of a Oldsmobile Hurst old's, cutlass 442, Chevrolet Monte Carlo, el amino, Malibu, Chevalier, 1977 Camaro Corvette as well. The capstan and head were cleaned, speed of tape was correctly adjusted.

A round led will light up for whenever the stereo is in scan mode. All four speaker channel outputs produce clear and strong sound output with no outside noise or distortion. It will also fit into many other Gm cars trucks from the late 1970s throughout 1980as well. The stereo also has seek scan features built in.

Pushing the left knob changes program, and will also change automatically once program is finished. The tape door is in super mint condition with no scratches or heavy wear.

The scan feature will do it automatically, staying on each station for five seconds before moving to next. There is a brand new rubber belt that was just installed to give you many years of future usage.

When the stereo receives a fm broadcast, st led lights up brightly. This stereo is in super mint, 100 working condition. The radio was cleaned inside and out, adjusted lubed.

The 8 track tape player also works 100 perfectly, as several tapes played extremely well. The tape cartridges also insert and eject very easily with minimal effort needed. The original decal id tag is still attached to side of radio chassis and very clear readable. The sound was very clear and presentable with no garble or distortions.

This radio was Gm rpo option code um4 and an expensive cosmetically the stereo is in super mint condition, as it looks brand new can be easily installed into a show or museum car. The seek feature allows radio to pick next best received station without turning knob.
