All of the black and stainless buttons have a great shine to them are not cracked or faded. The vacuum fluorescent digital readout is in excellent working condition, with no parts of characters numerals are burned out or dull, and have a very nice light greenish color. The stereo also has seek scan features built in.

The auto reverse feature also works correctly, with pushing in top knob automatically plays other side of tape will switch sides when it is finished playing on one. I have tested the radio and it works very well by picking up many stations on both fm am frequencies.

The wood grain face plate is also in super mint condition as it has a very nice brownish color with no scratches, heavy wear, or fading. This radio will also fit and work 100 perfectly into the 1985 Chevrolet Caprice impala model's as well, however model year cars used a brushed stainless face plate instead of wood grain that has installed. Cosmetically the stereo is in super mint condition, as it looks close to new and can be easily installed into a show or museum car. The tapes play very clear with no sound distortions or garble.

Hello folks, up for sale today is a super mint factory original delco gm digital err am fm stereo radio with auto-reverse cassette tape player and clock, that was taken out of 1988 Chevrolet Caprice brougham. If you are restoring your Classic mid to late 1980chevrolet Caprice a 100 point show car with exceptional details, exact originality, and quality, then this radio is just what looking for. The tape inserts and ejects nicely.

The cassette tape player also works perfectly. The scan feature will do it automatically, staying on each station for five seconds before moving to next. The scan indicator will light up for whenever stereo is in mode.

I tested three cassette tapes and they all played extremely well. The stereo is also equipped with a digital clock that displays when key turned on and radio off, or after five seconds tuning in station. The original decal tags are still attached to top and back of radio chassis, all very clear readable. The factory gm part for this radio is seek feature allows to pick next best received station without turning knob.

The capstans and head were cleaned, speed of tape was correctly adjusted. The fast forward and reverse switches also works very well, with a quick quiet motion. The tape door is also in super mint condition with no scratches or wear. There are three brand new illumination light bulbs that were just installed, and up the entire face plate brightly evenly in a greenish color.

The original rubber belt is still very tight and pliable to give you many years of future usage. When the stereo receives a fm broadcast, indicator lights up brightly in light greenish color. The digital display lens cover is clear with no scratches or marks.

The correct original turned stainless outer knobs and black inner are included also all in super mint condition. The radio was cleaned inside and out, adjusted lubed. The push buttons also work very well and push in easily, for storing recalling set stations. Having an original factory radio installed will not only rise the value of car, but it also score extra points when being judged at a show.

The correct tape led light illuminates for whichever direction cassette is playing. All of the is crisp and clear looks great. I had the clock hooked up for a couple of hours, and it kept perfect time. This radio is in super mint, 100 working condition.
