The original belt is still very tight and pliable to give you many years of future usage. When the stereo receives a fm broadcast, indicator lights up brightly in light greenish color. All 5 bands slide easily with no outside noise or distortion, and has strong sound throughout.

The radio was cleaned inside and out, adjusted lubed. I have tested the radio and it works very well by picking up many stations on both fm am frequencies. The loudness controls also works perfectly and gives radio an extra boost in sound when used with 5-band equalizer.
