Details:

Servicing on this radio included complete disassembly and a thorough cleaning and lubrication, all new capacitors, alignment and working dial lamp. There are some very tiny specks above the push buttons and a few others here and there but overall the cosmetics are excellent. The radio plays and sounds great with excellent reception up and down the tuning scale and strong volume.

All of the mechanics function smoothly including the station presets, station selections and manual tuning. Please look at the pictures for a detailed view. Not only does the radio play well but it is in beautiful cosmetic condition with bright shiny chrome on the bezel, excellent original knobs and push buttons, a crystal clear lens, bright orange indicator needle and de oxidized chassis.

These radios don't come along this nice very often so here is your opportunity to adorn your dashboard with this beautiful and great playing rebuilt radio. If you are looking for all original this is a beautiful restored Ford Mustang radio manufactured by philco model 5TPZ. It is am only no FM or other frills.

This radio was used in late model '65 Mustang model's and all year '66 model's. The original wiring and connectors are intact and in great shape so the radio is ready to install with the included mounting nuts, lock washers and rear nut. The power and light wires have been labeled for your convenience.
