Also the opening in your dashboard should be somewhat smaller than the flange at front of the radio, which is approximately wide by high, with the height being the most important. Mounting hardware for Mercedes 250 280SL is included please see the photos. As noted above, everything works, including the automatic tuning bar, lights, etc.

I almost never listened to the radio and frankly was worried about it being stolen, so removed it from the car. On the plus side though, this radio has shortwave and long wave bands, in addition to the am and FM. Installation instructions are also included.

This radio is a euro model, so the FM band only covers 88mhz to 103 MHz, versus 88mhz to 108 MHz for us model's. Here up for bids on is a vintage becker Grand Prix stereo radio that fits the Mercedes Benz 250 280SL 113 chassis, automobile.

You'll see the flange at the front of the radio, which rests on the front of your dash and prevents the radio from sliding through the dash. To help visualize how the radio will fit into your dash, please look at the last photo. In fact the radio was only installed in my 280SL for about a year before I removed it and stored it in doors.

This radio may also fit other Mercedes model's, but not being familiar with the other model's I can't guarantee it will. It is working correctly though, and i've included a flicker link to a video that shows the radio operating Note that speaker jacks, which plug into the left and right outputs in the separate amplifier, are not included.

Note this radio does not have a warranty and is not returnable. The radio is in excellent cosmetic and working condition, as it was restored by k nags classic in 2002 and has been used very little since.
