I have no idea what it was in. I can move the selection needle about halfway before it gets stiff, we didn't force anything, the on offs it should.

Untested, sold as core. Motorola 508, this was pulled out of a wreck in the 1950's sometime, and it's been on a shelf here in the office closet ever since. It's surprisingly clean, not even that dusty, the main body, cables, and the head unit.
