That puts it at 39 or 40 years old. Anyway, I know the tape tried is old, but my guess player needs some attention like maybe a belt or cleaning both. Install estimate shows I gently pulled out the tape and rewound it with a pencil. The radio face is in good condition.
An interesting radio from the 70's. One says transport screw this has the original estimate. Yes, I am that old. This comes with the original box, Styrofoam, instructions, wires, assorted nuts and washers hardware.
Vintage 1970s Craig am fm cassette. I don't know if there is one. The am fm indicators light up. Radio was made in either 77 or 78.
Hooked it up to test. When you press the w button for weather, there is no indicator. Am fm played fine. It also includes a Dotson remember them. Adapter kit.
It even has a button that when you press plays weather from the national service. I put a cassette in and it played, fast forwarded played for minute, then began to eat the tape. The box shows wear as does Styrofoam, but hey after 40 years, its not bad.
