Pros of buying a 1968-1969 AMC Javelin SST, AMX, Rebel or Ambassador radio antenna mast, bezel, and nut:

1. Authenticity: Buying original parts ensures that your classic car maintains its original appearance and value.

2. Fit and Functionality: OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts are designed to fit perfectly and work seamlessly with your vehicle's existing electrical and mechanical systems.

3. Durability: Original parts are often more durable than aftermarket alternatives, as they have been tested and proven over time.

4. Availability: While finding specific parts for older models can be challenging, buying original parts from reputable sources can increase your chances of finding what you need.

Cons of buying a 1968-1969 AMC Javelin SST, AMX, Rebel or Ambassador radio antenna mast, bezel, and nut:

1. Cost: Original parts can be more expensive than aftermarket alternatives, especially for rare or hard-to-find models.

2. Availability: As mentioned, finding original parts for older models can be challenging, and you may need to search multiple sources or pay a premium for hard-to-find parts.

3. Shipping and Handling: If you're not able to find a local source, you may need to pay for shipping and handling, which can add to the cost of the parts.

Conclusion: While buying original parts for your 1968-1969 AMC Javelin SST, AMX, Rebel, or Ambassador can be more expensive and difficult to find, the benefits often outweigh the drawbacks. Original parts ensure your car maintains its original appearance and value, fit and function seamlessly, and are often more durable than aftermarket alternatives. If you can find a reputable source for original parts, it may be worth the investment to ensure your classic car continues to run smoothly and look its best.

Details:

The chrome on mast nut is pristine. These all came from my 1969 Amx.

Questions or concerns.

There is some very light crazing on the base which really does not even show in photos, but. Should be correct for Amx Javelin and others. The anchor is piece that holds mast to fender from underneath.

Very nice setup for a driver type and local show winner car. No reserve - bid to win.
