The 's' indicates that it is a single ended valve IE no top cap. Gm 6SR7 the service code VT-233 is a double diode tried sharing common cathode. The first diode acts as signal detector feeding audio via a volume control into tried AF amplifier before passes to output valve. This triple sectioned valve was designed for superhero am receivers.
