Details:

However, not all of the push buttons work properly.

This radio has been bench tested for several hours and does work very well. It needs some repair or just tune manually. The plastic dial lens is in very nice condition and has been lightly polished. The inside is very clean as can be seen in last picture.

Knobs are in very nice condition.

Sound is very clear with lots of volume. It is currently set up for 12 volt negative ground systems but can be changed to positive by rotating a disc on the side of casing. Part number for this radio is 8SMB and it was made by Motorola. Dial light is functional.

This will fit so do your homework first before buying. The outer one on right side is missing metal insert but still fits tightly tuning shaft. Numbering is still very bright. Manual tuning works fine up and down the scale.

I'm not sure what its for but thinking possibly radio noise suppression. Also, use the antenna connection on right side of as that is one connected in this particular. Nice, clean units such as this one don't come up for sale very often.

The antenna trimmer was adjusted during bench testing but should be readjusted once radio is hooked up in vehicle. The radio casing is very nice with no rust issues. I have sold many radios over the years through and try to describe them as accurately possible.

This is probably due to a problem with the inner tuning clutch. Please add the push buttons themselves are in very nice cosmetic condition and have been cleaned polished. I'm not sure exactly which british vehicles mg, mgb, Austin healy, sprite, etc.

There is an electrical canister on the back of radio. Tone control works properly. I will have, or currently other automotive radios in varying condition for sale.
