An adjustment is necessary as the indicator needs to be slid along the string to the right. The casing is in decent condition with no rust issues. This comes with a very nice set of chromed metal knobs which may or may not be original to this unit. I have sold many radios over the years through and try to describe them as accurately as possible.
Tone control works but I can't really notice much difference. This would not be seen if installed under the dash. It will need servicing.
The chrome bezel has a nice shine to it but has a scrape mark on the underside see pic. Radio has been bench tested and is in good working condition. The 8 track also works but the volume is lower and it rarely changes tracks by pushing in on the volume control.
The inside has been blown free of any dust and loose debris. That's why I listed this unit as for parts or not working. There is a black fused wire for power, a dark blue wire for the dial light, and wiring with connectors for 2 speakers.
One can here the switch but the track doesn't change. 95 postage for domestic shipping it's a wide heavy unit. Dial indicator is bright in color just repainted and the dial light is functional.
Part number for this radio is A7MV and it was made by Motorola.
However, the stations are off scale to the left and it will not tune past 14 on the dial. The tabs at each mounting end of the plastic dial lens are cracked but still there. The black area on the front needs to be repainted. I'm not sure what model's or other years this may fit so please do your homework first before buying.
