Sound is very clear with lots of volume. Please add these don't come up for sale very often.
It is designed for 12 volt negative ground systems. Radio is designed for one speaker and not stereo but monaural. The plastic dash bezel is also in nice condition with just some light scratches around knob area.
Its probably burned out but I don't have a replacement. Tone control, left rear knob, works properly. The fm dial light works but not one for am.
The antenna trimmer was adjusted during bench testing but should be readjusted once radio is hooked up in vehicle. Knobs 1 inner outer are correct and in very nice condition.
Chrome bezel has a very nice shine with just some occasional light pitting. Part number for this radio is AR-353 and it was made in japan. The plastic dial lens is in nice condition. The tuning shaft is broken off on right side.
I'm not sure exactly which vehicles this will fit so do your homework first before buying. Manual tuning is the only function for right side shaft. However, a matched pair of correct knobs can be glued together to make one.
I will have, or currently other automotive radios in varying condition for sale. Manual tuning works fine up and down the scale.
This radio utilizes 2 very small dial lights, one for each band. I have sold many radios over the years through and try to describe them as accurately possible. Dial indicator is still bright in color.
This radio has been bench tested for several hours and does work very well on both am fm. The radio casing is a little dirty but has no rust issues. This will slide onto the notched shaft and tuning work just fine as also operates manual.
