Details:
The radio plays and sounds great with good reception up and down the tuning scale with good tone and very strong volume. The power light wire is new with plenty of extra length to tie into your under dash.
The on off functions fine as does the manual tuning. Servicing of this radio included a thorough cleaning and lubrication, new capacitors, tested tubes, new Sol pad output transistor insulator and a working dial lamp. Not only does the radio play well but it is in nice cosmetic condition for its age with chrome that is still pretty shiny on the bezel showing some normal wear, excellent original knobs and a nice clear lens that has been polished free of any scratches.
It should provide good service for a long time to come. The radio also comes with the hard to find speaker plug and new wiring.
This is a no rust ever radio. The indicator needle has been repainted and the chassis has been DE oxidized. Please look at the pictures for a better view. It should provide good service for a long time.
