Specials used 2 different radios during the 1963 production run this is the second type. I can only say that it is in great shape, with no rust or visible damage, and both knobs and preset buttons are working. This was an estate sale item from central pa.
I don't have the knowledge or equipment to test electronics, so I have to offer it as is. This is a delco model 980464A am radio which fits the 1963 Buick special.
The brackets have not injured or altered the radio in any way. The owner had boxed it and stored it carefully.
