Note this is the only model with foot control switch feature orange wire, two pin connector on back. This unit has been serviced properly and ready to enjoy. The plugs are uncut, not like others you see out there. The chrome slides and buttons are near perfect, so I am pricing it accordingly. Both graphics back lights replaced. I do not sell worked when removed units as many.

This is the correct amber color led display unique to 1979 model year. No wire wheeled rust off to look a little better. Many hours go into each one of these to make them as reliable possible.

I buy a lot of these radios, the majority them do not work. No chopped off wires.

I've had a few fail, that's why I test run them. Shown here is a rare, working original Ford am fm stereo quadrasonic 8 track radio only used in 1979 model's. Fm board capacitor replaced, controls repaired, capstan burnished, tape deck cleaned, lubed, and adjusted. This is one of the nicest looking quad tracks i've had in awhile.

The black face is in excellent condition for its age. If I get a radio with cut off plugs, replace them from other donor units have saved for parts. I want my units to be plug and play, no patching or splicing of wiring.
