The radio plays and sounds great with excellent reception and sensitivity up and down the tuning scale with nice tone and strong volume.
All of the mechanics function fine including the station presets, station selections and manual tuning. The numbers on the tuning scale are a little out of place but the numbers are still discernible for finding stations. The aluminum dash trim has a few waves in it from being bent but it still looks pretty nice. The ivory push buttons show some discoloration that can be seen upon close inspection but they still look fine.
It should provide good service for a long time to come. The cabinet has been de oxidized. Servicing of this radio included a thorough cleaning and lubrication, new capacitors and out of tolerance resistors and more. Not only does the radio play well but it is in very nice cosmetic condition with beautiful bright shiny chrome on the bezel little to no pitting and original four piece knob set.
