Details:

I have made a thin plywood adapter for the replacement speaker, so it will bolt up to the original studs on the back ot the dashboard. Now offered is this restored Mopar 602 radio for 1946 to 1948 Chrysler product vehicles. The paint on the case is mostly good, with some chips on the top that won't show anyway once the set is installed in your car. The dial scale is the original one, not perfect, but still very legible.

Although this radio is warranted not to be DOA, I cannot warrant this set beyond this point, as it is a electronic device that was made over 65 years ago. This radio has been electronically restored with new capacitors, the tubes checked, and the circuits re aligned, and bench tested for several hours. In addition, it includes a 6 permanent magnet speaker that sounds great and uses less power than the original elector magnetic speaker the set originally came with. Notice that the sturdy, original metal hanger bracket for the radio is also included.

This is a plug and play set. This one sounds just about as good, is a simpler, more trouble free design, and uses less current than it's more expensive sibling. Which I never had.

This is the 6 tube am radio made by colonial that was available at the time, more economically priced than the Phil sourced 8 tube model. The chrome is not perfect, but presentable, with very minor pitting.

I'm not sure if the chrome knobs are absolutely correct, but they have good chrome, are period correct and look appropriate for this radio.
