It sounds really nice.
The early factory Mustang am fm is very rare as not that many people opted to pay higher price for this option. I have sold many radios over the years through and try to describe them as accurately possible.
Ideally, these should be adjusted for maximum volume once the radio is connected to cars antenna. Most of the ones found are from 1966 with part number f6tbz. Wiring is the original with all connectors fully intact.
The very worn inspection sticker is still attached to underside of casing. All chrome has a very nice shine.
The cosmetics and performance are such that this radio would make for a great looking, correct, fully functional unit your early Mustang restoration project. A very nice set of correct chrome plated, metal knobs is included. The area of chromed bezel showing through dash is in very nice condition as are push buttons.
You are buying on one very nice factory original 1965 Ford Mustang am fm mono radio complete with correct knobs. 95 postage for secure domestic shipping.
This is the earlier '65 version with part number F5TBZ making very rare. The plastic dial lens is excellent. Please add this unit will also work in the 1966 Mustang as well.
The am fm slide bar is in nice condition but does have a noticeable pit on topside which shown one of photos. Radio was manufactured by bendix letter 'b' in part number. There are no cracks and the numbering is very bright.
There are minimal imperfections.
