I took the three pictures to show both sides and the front of the knobs in order to try to show the defects Cadillac radio knobs used and pitted see photos gm group 9. One of the two knobs has only three pit defects of the larger size and about three just starting and the other has nine pit defects of the larger size and some very small ones starting. All are good cores for re chroming. See photos one knob of with the black paint still in the has lots of small to tiny pits all over.
One of the other knobs has three large pit defects one in the but passable otherwise. The third knob has three large pit defects on the side and three in the area in addition to some smaller pitting at one spot on the side and in the area.
