I put a tape in and it plays OK sound was uneven at first but was normal after a few minutes, probably because it doesn't get much use my sense is that the tape player will work perfectly when it is used every day. The cassette player has auto reverse, song skip search and Dolby b noise reduction. I originally had this in one of my sports cars but got a good deal on a blanket so I no longer need this one still it is a really good quality unit.

It is a full feature unit with station seek search, a programmable memory of up to 36 radio stations and a digital clock. I found a PDF of the original manual online and have printed a copy, has all the details about installing it and using the features.

The only real condition issue is that the wiring for the rear speakers may need adjustment sometimes the audio in the rear set cuts out, I found that bending jiggling the wiring plug corrects the problem and have installed a piece of plastic to keep the plug positioned correctly see 3rd picture, but you might want to make a permanent fix to this.
