Review Rod Rat Stereo Supertuner fits MUSTANG CAMARO PIONEER THUNDERBIRD 1970–1980

Pull out on the LHS knob to power up. Radio works am FM, but did not test cassette.

File photo, representative pieces shown. No paperwork or user guides, you'll need to pick one of these off of the internet. This appears to have the original front and back knobs.

I used to have an under dash kp 500 version of this, and the supertuner radio was one of the best at the time. Downloadable versions available at various sites. Am FM buttons operate as they should and pull out to set preset buttons still work late 70's early 80's Pioneer supertuner model kp5500 kp 5500 stereo.

Buttons and controls look nice, will need minor detailing of small corner dust etc. Push to power down. Chrome on knobs is nice. Some scratches on bottom of black surround where it fits thru dash.

Capstan and rubber pinch roller appear in clean condition. The fuse is missing from the fuse holder but all the holder parts are intact. It also appears that there is a preamps out plug to connect to a Pioneer or some external unit.
