These are very hard to find in this beautiful restored condition so if you want a great looking and playing radio for your classic Ford sports car then this is your opportunity to adorn your dash with this top notch example that works and plays great. All of the numbering has been redone white, the Conrad civil defense markings have been redone red and the needle has also been repainted red. It all looks really nice.
Servicing of this radio included a thorough cleaning, lubrication of all moving parts, new capacitors except mica's, replacement of necessary resistors, alignment, tested tubes, and working dial lamps.
The radio works, plays and sounds great with excellent reception and sensitivity up and down the tuning scale with good tone and strong volume. The metal chassis has been de oxidized and looks great this is a beautiful restored 1957 Ford Thunderbird deluxe 9 tube town Country signal seek radio manufactured by Motorola model 79MS. Included are the front mounting nuts, side mounting nuts, fuse holder needs fuse, an eye terminal for easy installation and a new light wire. The signal seek function works fine and is also very sensitive to station detection in town mode both forward and reverse action.
Not only does the radio play and function well but it is in top cosmetic condition with bright mirror chrome on the bezel no pitting, excellent original knobs no pitting, very nice chrome push buttons and a clear lens.
