Details:

Radio was stripped, re stained, and 10 coats of hand rubbed nitro cellulose lacquer were applied. It is just the nature of fine burl. It is there only to simplify requirements.

The unit is 24 x 16 x 21, and weighs 34 lbs. Tubes were all checked and replaced where necessary. For your consideration a beautiful and functional piece of furniture manufactured in a new power cord with safety capacitors were added. Grill cloth is by Richmond designs.

Please ignore the fixed shipping cost. Only 3500 of these units were manufactured, and very few remain. This chairside radio has book matched mahogany sides, and features book matched mahogany burl top. I only charge the actual shipping amount, so that will have to be determined by where you live.

The radio was aligned to factory specifications, and picks up local stations using only the built in antenna. The split you see in the bottom section of the top is indicative of burl veneer and will not increase because of the lacquer coating on top of it.

It has broadcast and police bands, but the police band was not tested, as the frequencies aren't available any more. The chassis was completely refurbished, with new capacitors, wiring where needed, and out of tolerance resistors were replaced.
