Details:

Remember that in this instance the single black wire is for power not ground. The plastic dial lens is in nice condition. The radio casing is very clean with no rust issues.

Knobs are correct for 1964 and in very good condition. I will have, or currently other Falcon Mustang radios in varying condition for sale. The knobs and numbering on dial also vary depending application.

This casing is similar to the Motorola one used in early Mustang so should fit '64. Tone control works properly. Push buttons work very smoothly and set stations properly. Manual tuning works fine up and down the scale.

I have sold many radios over the years through and try to describe them as accurately possible. 5 thru '66 Mustang along with the '65 Falcon. They are very nice cosmetically and have been lightly polished.

Dial indicator is bright in color and the light functional. The dual connector is for speaker. It will need repair.

While the single blue wire is for dial light. I would normally repair this but am currently out of factory connectors. The inside of radio has been blown free any dust and loose debris.

All wiring connectors are intact except the power connector has been cut off. The lens has been lightly polished and is very clear. Part number for this radio is 4TPD and it was made by Philco.

Front mounting nuts and lock washers are also included. This radio has been bench tested for several hours and does work very well.

It is date stamped DEC 6, please add chrome bezel has a really nice shine with only some occasional very fine pitting.
